Christmas came early for Unfiltered and its elite squad of Celebrity Wine Spotters last month when ratings jackpot Taylor Swift raised a glass of Jay-Z’s Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Champagne after fellow megastar (and whisky distiller) Beyoncé won Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards.
The 2025 Grammys may have gone celeb-wine supernova, but it’s an honor just to be served a glass of bubbly during awards season. Whether you were sipping Frontera with the rest of the Grammy attendees not named Swift or Z, or popping Franciacorta at the Emmys, Cooper’s Hawk at the SAG Awards, Moët & Chandon at the Golden Globes or even the surprise Champagne that replaced Brad Pitt’s Miraval Champagne at this year’s Oscars … you’re all winners! (Especially if you made it all the way to the Vanity Fair party at the end for some Kosta Browne.)
Now go ahead and pop that bottle you were saving for when they called your name, because this is going to be the closest we’ve been to a red carpet since you-know-who spilled their Beaujolais at Thanksgiving.

Emmy Awards Sparkle Again with Franciacorta
In September, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences hosted the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and for the fourth time in as many years, Italy’s Franciacorta sparkling wines were in everyone’s glass.
“We are proud to represent Italy once again at the Emmy Awards,” said Consorzio Franciacorta president Silvano Brescianini, who also welcomed Italian actress and Made in Italy ambassador Miriam Leone as Franciacorta’s guest at the Emmys, and celebrated the inclusion of Italian chef Augusto Pasini as the event’s gala chef. “This year we aim to celebrate Italian excellence in all its forms, from wine to food, to cinema and television.”
One of the night’s biggest winners was Hulu’s “chef-driven” comedy The Bear, with wins for actors Jeremy Allen White and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. But while The Bear brings a lot to the table, wine isn’t one of them. Nevertheless, season 4 of The Bear drops in June, and we did spot a few wine bottles in the first studio clips released this month … come back this summer for our take on season 4 of The Bear.

A Complete Known: Moët & Chandon at the Golden Globes
There was little time to restock between New Year’s and the 82nd annual Golden Globe awards Jan. 5 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. But Champagne house Moët & Chandon is always prepared for a celebrity meet-up—just ask Pharrell, Carmelo or Roger—and this year the grande marque reprised its role as the official Champagne of the Golden Globes for the 34th time.
Prior to the awards ceremony, Moët & Chandon’s Toast for a Cause charity initiative supported more than 25 charities selected by dozens of celebrity participants, including Ariana Grande. Jeff Goldblum and former California vintner Kate Hudson.
Guests at this year’s Globes enjoyed both the Moët & Chandon Champagne Brut Impérial NV and Rosé Impérial NV, along with pairings from chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Spotted at this year’s cool kids table: Timothée Chalamet, his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, his A Complete Unknown co-stars Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro, plenty of glasses of both the brut and rosé Champagnes, and a bonus bottle from Moët & Chandon sister bodega Terrazas de los Andes.

Chef David Chang and Cooper’s Hawk Wines Star at SAG Awards
Hot on the heels of Taylor Swift’s viral Champagne moment at the Grammys in February, the 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards welcomed host Kristen Bell, very smart chef David Chang and Cooper’s Hawk wines to Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium.
Chang’s menu included Momofuku cold fried chicken with white barbecue sauce, a salmon and vegetable kimbap duo, honey butter chips and a special dessert “pie” from Pizzeria Bianco, all paired with Cooper’s Hawk Artist’s Blend red and white wines.
A New Champagne Pops Up at the 97th Academy Awards
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is known to partner with wineries that carry some star power of their own. Director Francis Ford Coppola’s wine label as well as Pitt’s Miraval brand have each earned their Oscars moments in recent years. One-time screenwriter and full-time Prince Robert de Luxembourg’s Domaine Clarence Dillon once-again supplied the still wines at this year’s Academy Awards, held March 2 at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theater. Clarendelle Bordeaux White 2023, Bordeaux Red 2016 and Amberwine 2021 all earned applause.
But it was Champagne Lallier that took the sparkling spotlight at the 2025 Oscars, providing the Lallier Brut Champagne R.019, from the house’s Réflexion collection. “As the world gathers to celebrate cinematic brilliance, Champagne Lallier is honored to be part of this extraordinary occasion,” read a statement from the winery. “With its participation at the 97th Oscars, Lallier toasts to the dedication, passion and craft that define both the film industry and the world of Champagne.”
But the A-list wine and celeb pairings don’t end with the Oscars. This year’s Vanity Fair Oscar party featured wall-to-wall stars, In-N-Out burgers for all and Kosta Browne Chardonnay Russian River Valley One Sixteen 2021, Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast Gap’s Crown Vineyard 2021 and Pinot Noir Anderson Valley Cerise Vineyard 2020.
In fact, the party never ends when it comes to Awards Show Wines, and the 2025 Tonys are coming in June, along with a lot of bottles of La Crema!
